2016 Jeep Wrangler SUV

This SUV is an animal off road, and with the SUV market now saturated, the true American style of the Jeep Wrangler truly stands out from it;s competitors. For 2016 the manufacturers have launched the 75th anniversary and Back country editions, along with the Black Bear. These 3 new models add to an already large range of jeeps from them. One of the big advantages of Jeep Wrangler is their exceptional after sales support, which is the envy of it’’s rivals, and all models are a thrill to drive. For 2016 Wrangler have also put out all their range of SUVs with new colour options. This was a big step for the manufacturer, with the new olive green interior as a good example.

The motor itself, is iconic in looks and just shouts ‘freedom’ for weekend outdoor fun lovers ( ‘freedom’ being used on much of it’s marketing collateral). It’s also the only SUV out on the market that has a convertible model, and allows the user to remove the doors and lower the windshield, for a true free, off road adventure.

The Nissan Xterra and Toyota FJ Cruiser have been pulled from the market,  Therefore, the only real competitors for off road ready SUVs to the Wrangler are the Cherokee Trailhawks, Grand Cherokee and the Toyota 4Runner. All with heftier price tags, and with reason. These 3 competitors of Wrangler have easier handling, with superior crash test scores, better braking and generally a smoother ride than the Wrangler.

Still a true American icon though, which will sell well at a starting price of around $32000.
